Sketchbook Weekly #2

While I interned at American Greetings I learned from the pros around me how to design with shape and forms first, and then build from there. I also realized how important line quality is and how much it can do for you. That experience totally changed my frame of mind and I want to thank everyone over there at the licensing department for allowing me the freedom to grow so much. These particular sketches are just random but the trolls are for a children's book assignment I worked on last semester with the fabulous Mary Gran Pre. Many of you may be familiar with her work from the Harry Potter book covers but everything else she did was even more amazing! Hope you like them.
