National Portfolio Days Poster
In the fall semester I interned at the Design Center of the Ringling School of Art and Design. My semester project was to come up with a poster for The National Portfolio Days which was today. The painting was done in masonite and was professionally scanned and the decorations and the type where hand generated and digitally colored. I'm pretty proud of this poster and it was a neat experience to see it go to print and getting to experience that whole process. I would say the type was the most challenging but I feel like in the end it came out desent. This version of the poster is not the final, the color of the decorations is more orange and the bottom type is yellow. It was neat to see it hung in school today as the high school seniors walked around with portfolio in hand. The poster went out only in Florida to about 5000 high schools.
