So i'm gonna start the posting thing with the first two tight drawings for my senior thesis project, coming in May!! My thesis consist of six or seven paintings derived or inspired by classic literature. The drawings posted are for the paintings for Catcher in the Rye and Moby Dick. I will post the paintings after the show so there could be some kind of anticipation for the actual show. Much more to come...

Thats what Im talking about ... theres an amazing transition of mood that takes place in the top drawing, from the tense expression of the decor and horses to the calming delicate touch of the girl. To me that is visual narrative, using your own suggestions not the books ...excellent
