Portfolio Time!
Illustration on the play Romeo and Juliet.
Illustration based on the play Phantom of the Opera.
Piece based on a great great book about the magical world of a child's mind.
I especially enjoy this piece. Old school illustrators used to do illustrations of the seasons all the time so I figured I would do my rendition of spring.
self-portrait in my weird odd kind of way.
Based on an article about a twisted act of revenge.
Based on an article on optimism.
So I finally decided to break down and put part of my portfolio on the blog. I guess my website will take a while so why not have some work up for people to see. I enjoy painting in oils tremendously and I got a feeling that after Im done with school I won't get a chance to paint as much! The industry has moved to the digital era and thats fine with me but respect your ROOTS, you know what I mean! Feel free to drop me a line, your opinion is valuable to me and hopefully you enjoy what you see!

Wow. Your work never ceases to amaze me, dude. I especially love the Phantom of the Opera, and the Twisted Revenge pieces. The Spring piece is really good, too, and definitely old school, but I see more Fall in it than I do Spring. I think it's because of the color scheme, as it has more browns and deep reds in it...
Just wondering - How long does it take to complete one of those?
Keep up the good work, man.
Great stuff. I've bookmarked your page and check it regularly.
I'm with you...even though the illustration industry has headed digital, I'm still 'drawn' to splashing ink on paper and the spontaneity that happens. Computers just can't duplicate that.
looks great Los
